Radio MCAD is the student run radio station of the Minneapolis College of Art + Design. We seek to exhibit and enhance the unique talent and vision to be found in the MCAD community. We program an eclectic mix of sounds that reflect the diversity of our core audience: the MCAD community.

Solomon| Wednesday Shindig (10pm Wednesdays)
Comix kid playing some swell music you can groove to. Trance, techno, electro, funk, dubstep and general electronic stuff. She also is half of the Pokémon March team, for which she DJs every other Saturday.

Jenny| The Ladies of Metal
The Ladies of Metal play brutal, mind-boggling metal every Friday at 23:00.

A third-year illustration major, she’s often told she doesn’t “look like a metalhead,” whatever that means. She particularly enjoys shocking and terrorizing innocent folk with her love of metal and looking at photos of cuddly widdle otters and kittens.

Heather | Love & Mixtapes: Wednesdays at 7pm

Exploring the mixtape as a medium for storytelling. Each week brings a new mix with a different story or theme.

Heather is currently a Junior majoring in Graphic Design with a strong interest in Illustration, comics, cats, and anything crafty.

Emily | The Shelter: Thursday @ 6:00 pm
